John Cena, one of the most decorated WWE wrestlers of all time, will leave a void in WWE upon his approaching retirement. His in-ring career will officially conclude on December 13, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. His retirement will mark an end to an era. The 17-time World Champion and the most popular wrestler in WWE is down to his final few but highly anticipated appearances.

John Cena has already stated that he won’t participate in in-ring matches post his retirement. This means SNME on December 13, 2025, will be the last time we will see John Cena competing inside the squared ring. This event is scheduled to take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

How Many Dates Remain in John Cena’s Retirement Tour?

As of today, Monday, November 10, 2025, John Cena has four confirmed dates remaining in his retirement tour. He will hang up his boots at SNME in December 2025. Tonight’s appearance on Monday Night Raw will be one of the four remaining appearances. What makes it significant is that WWE Raw will take place in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, tonight.

Monday, November 10, 2025: WWE Monday Night Raw in his hometown, Boston, MA (This will be his second-to-last appearance on WWE Raw).
Monday, November 17, 2025: WWE Monday Night Raw in his hometown, New York, NY (This will be his final appearance on WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden).
Saturday, November 29, 2025: Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego, CA (His penultimate appearance in WWE)
Saturday, December 13, 2025: Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, DC (His final appearance in WWE)

John Cena’s opponent in his last match will be decided by the “The Last Time is Now” tournament. Sixteen participants from Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT, and other wrestling promotions will vie for the chance to challenge The Cenation Leader in his last bout. The winner of the tournament will get the opportunity to cap off one of the biggest farewell tours in Wrestling history.
