Stephanie Vaquer created history tonight when she defeated Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel to become only the second Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. It’s been only fifteen months since Stephanie Vaquer made his WWE debut, but the pace at which she is breaking records and adding accolades under her name tells how good she is.
Stephanie Vaquer has a huge fan base, and it was apparent tonight when the entire arena chanted, “You deserve it” after she won the Crown Jewel Championship. She did it by pinning Tiffany Stratton, who has not been pinned in a title match for more than 250 days after fighting big names like Trish Stratus, Charlotte Flair, and Nia Jax. This tells the magnitude of Stephanie Vaquer’s victory tonight.
Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer faced each other in one of the most intense matches and while Stephanie Vaquer was able to defeat her opponent, it was never easy. These two divas prepared to face each other so well that they were countering each other’s moves for fun. Tiffany Stratton tried Over the Moonsault twice but failed to connect both times.
Stephanie Vaquer, too, delivered her finisher SVB to Tiffany Stratton, but that wasn’t enough to pin her. Tiffany Stratton missed the second Over the Moonsault, and this allowed Stephanie Vaquer to land a variation of Cork Screw from the third rope. She secured a pinfall victory over Tiffany Stratton and marked the beginning of Stephanie Vaquer’s era.
Triple H entered the ring to congratulate her and give her the Crown Jewel ring. Stephanie Vaquer has already defeated Iyo Sky to become the Women’s World Champion. She will face Rhea Ripley soon in a title match, and it is going to be a nail-biting encounter.
