The 2025 Spanish Grand Prix is going to start in a few hours in Barcelona. The race will be the last event of the triple header in Formula 1. Spanish GP is going to host 66 laps of racing action today. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya features new front wing regulations for the race.

Oscar Piastri is starting the race on pole. His teammate Lando Norris is going to join him on the front row. The top-5 is contested among four teams for this race. Piastri has advantage of Norris. Although, the Briton is in better form compared to his teammate and championship rival.

Spanish GP Starting Grid- What Should Expect in the Race Today?

There less chances of drivers committing any mistakes in today’s race. Teams spend hours testing around the Barcelona circuit. This gives the drivers a fair idea of the track and their car’s behaviour around the track. The race results will depend on the upgrades which teams are bringing in this weekend.

In Barcelona, there were dark clouds during the qualifying yesterday. Rain will cause many changes to the race and will possibly cause chaos in the grid. The top-5 drivers will be fighting for the win equally. Meanwhile, the midfield will be contested heavily. The entire pack is full of cars with enough speed to shake up the midfield. Racing Bulls, Williams, Alpine, Haas, Aston Martin and Kick Sauber were displaying similar pace this weekend.
