Seth Jarvis has quickly become a crucial piece of Carolina’s roster. Initially a high-energy middle-six forward, he has transformed into a top offensive weapon. After a breakout 2023-24 season where he scored 33 goals and 67 points, Jarvis signed a massive eight-year, $63.2 million extension, ensuring his future with the team. This season, he remains one of Carolina’s top scorers, already netting 26 goals and 51 points in 60 games. The 2020 first-round pick continues to prove his value, ranking ahead of most players drafted before him.

After dominating the AHL with 57 points in 47 games, he was called up last season and never looked back. Stankoven has 31 points this year, ranking among the top NHL rookies. His high-energy style fits perfectly with Carolina’s aggressive forechecking system, and he looks like a long-term fit alongside veteran leaders Jordan Staal and Jordan Martinook.

Now in his second season as SKA St. Petersburg’s captain, he boasts elite offensive skills and a physical defensive presence. The Hurricanes are eager to bring him over to the NHL, where he could be a game-changer on the blue line.
