Seth Rollins’ Injury: Is This WWE’s Attempt to Write Off Seth Rollins?

Seth Rollins victory against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel should have been a catalyst to propel the Vision faction forward in WWE. Instead both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turned heel on him and attacked the Visionary. To make things worst, even the oracle, Paul Heyman was not at Seth Rollins’ side when he was lying inside the ring after the attack.

The attack came soon after CM Punk became the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship and both Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attacked him. Seth Rollins enjoyed ever bit of it but was unaware that he the one next in the line. The future of his Vision faction is now over and the attention will now be positioned to Bron Breakker who will be the leader now.

Is WWE’s Writing Off Seth Rollins?

Yes, WWE is reportedly writing off Seth Rollins from television due to a shoulder injury. He sustained a significant shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. The injury will make him undergo shoulder surgery which will keep him sidelined from WWE for several month. Some reports suggest that Seth Rollins wont be a part of WrestleMania 42.

Unlike Seth Rollins’ previous knee injury that was a planned storied deception, Dave Meltzer and insider reports both confirmed the shoulder injury is real. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed betrayed the Crown Jewel Champion, brutally attacking him on Monday Night Raw last week and aligned themselves with Paul Heyman. The angle was reportedly expedited to provide as a storyline for Seth Rollins absence.

This attack will also provide a logical reason for Seth Rollins to drop his title. The repercussion are however massive as Seth Rollins was a center figure in upcoming PPVs including the upcoming Survivor Series and his injury will force WWE to change all those plans. Seth Rollins might be vacating the title on upcoming Monday Night Raw.
