Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo has had a rough 2024/25 season in terms of finding his place in the starting lineup. Having been left out of the major FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the Brazilian is highly speculated to be looking for a new home this summer.

From all the clubs linked to Rodrygo, Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr was emerging as one of the potential sides to have approached. However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has ruled out any possibilities of these links in his latest report.

Rodrygo Stays Focused on European Football

According to Romano, Rodrygo has no plans to join Al Nassr this summer. There’s been no talk whatsoever involving him or Gabriel Martinelli with the club. Instead, Al Nassr is shifting focus to other targets, adjusting their budget since it doesn’t align with Rodrygo’s current value. For now, he’s set on continuing his career in European football.

The 24-year-old having left his remark on the top European sides is being chased by some elite clubs. Arsenal being one of the top emerging sides, Rodrygo is expected to stay in one of the European leagues.

His contract runs until June 2028, but recent reports suggest he may be considering a move, possibly due to limited playing time under coach Xabi Alonso. Despite these rumours, Alonso has publicly affirmed Rodrygo’s importance to the team. Leaving his next steps unclear until after the Club World Cup, when further discussions are expected.
