Rodolfo Bellato has been diagnosed with herpes as per reports. He revealed the reason for him pulling out of the co-main event at UFC Vegas 106 via MMA Orbit on X. He stated –

“I never thought herpes would take me out of a fight! I’m sorry all of you guys, but it’s something that is out of our control. I’ll have more news soon!”

The co-main event of the UFC Vegas 106 event was cancelled just one hour before the two fighters were expected to walk-out. This came as a twist for the fans and quickly resulted in various speculations. Then, Rodolfo Bellato himself revealed the news about his diagnosis himself. This was a setback for both Rodolfo Bellato and Paul Craig. Both these fighters were hoping to get a win in their careers. Paul Craig was looking to return to a win after losing his last three fights. The same can be said about Rodolfo Bellato. He was looking back to winning after his last fight resulted in a draw as per reports. However, the two of the might get a match again in the future if Dana White and the UFC decides it.

Rodolfo “Trator” Bellato has been one of the newer additions to the UFC roster with only three fights in his UFC career so far. He reached the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series on September 6, 2022. He earned two wins back to back in his first two professional fights in the UFC. Bellato’s third UFC fight against Jimmy Crute resulted in a draw through mutual decision on February 8, 2025 as per the official site. His fight against Paul Craig would have been his fourth UFC fight.
