After a stumbling start at the Club World Cup 2025, Real Madrid will head to the Round of 16 of the competition. Defeating RB Salzburg 3-0 in the final group stage game, Xabi Alonso and his side are undefeated moving to the knockout stages.

Vinicius Jr. opened the scoring against Salzburg and Fede Valverde and Gonzalo Garcia sealed the deal. Real Madrid topped Group H as Al-Hilal joined them for the knockout stages later this week.
