The King of the Ring tournament has reached its final stage with just three more matches to go. After intense, fatal four-way matches, we received four semifinalists: Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso. Sami Zayn was the first one to qualify by defeating Bron Breakker, Penta, and Dominic Mysterio. Randy Orton, on the other hand, defeated Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, and Aleister Black.

The King of the Ring tournament final will take place at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The King of the Ring winner will get a chance to compete for the championship of their respective brand at SummerSlam. Sami Zayn and Randy Orton will face each other on Friday Night SmackDown tonight to decide the first King of the Ring finalist.

Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn, Match Preview

A 14-time World Champion, Randy Orton, vs. the one still searching for his first time, Sami Zayn, will be an underdog going into the match. Sami Zayn is on his way to being a future legend and is known to give it all during his matches. Randy Orton, however, has been the most cheered Anti-hero. Randy Orton and Sami Zayn have faced each other twice in a singles match, and the latter lost both of them.

It would be an uphill task for Sami Zayn to beat the Legend Killer in a match that would take him one step towards the title match. Sami Zayn and Randy Orton would meet inside a ring for the first time after the Viper saved Sami from Kevin Owens’ assault at the Elimination Chamber. Both Randy Orton and Sami Zayn are obsessed with the title now, which makes them a different beast in their matches.

The match between them is set to be a blockbuster, and no matter who wins, the crowd is guaranteed to get their money’s worth. The Legend Killer and Legend in the making are just two steps away from being the King of the Ring crown, one of which is to beat each other.
