Post Malone mocks the Kansas City Chiefs’ fans

Eric Divakaran

The Kansas City Chiefs were utterly destroyed in the Super Bowl this year and it was disappointing to watch. Mahomes and the Chiefs only really lost to the Bills in the 2024 regular season and were well positioned to make a three-peat happen. Since they were the number one seed in AFC, they bypassed the Wildcard round and played the Texans in the divisional round and the Bills in the AFC championship round. The Chiefs beat the Bills for fourth consecutive time in the playoffs and many fans were upset at the calls that the referees were making, in favor of the Chiefs.

In every sports league across the world, there are some beloved franchises and some that are just hated by almost every fanbase across the league. Apart from the Chiefs fans, many fanbases dislike Kansas City for winning way too much and sometimes getting controversial calls in their favor. Many fans think that the NFL is rigged and it is not a new trend. Back when the Patriots won six championships, nobody liked them. Similarly, the Chiefs are now the next target for many fans. In fact, the Chiefs losing the Super Bowl has many fans feeling rejoiced and ecstatic.

Famous American rapper and singer, Post Malone, too mocked the Chiefs’ fans in his recent concert. What did he do? Let’s find out.

Post Malone Trolls the Chiefs Fans

Post Malone is a famous rapper and singer who is knowns for his tracks such as “Better now,” “Rockstar,” “Sunflower,” and many more. In one of his recent concerts, before Malone performed one of his songs called “I had some help,” he announced “I wrote this song about the Chiefs and the referees.” Why you may ask? Because the song’s lyrics looks something like this;

I had some help
It ain’t like I can make this kinda mess all by myself
Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf
Been deep in every weekend if you couldn’t tell
They say teamwork makes the dream work
Hell, I had some help (help)
.”

His song very much aligns with the allegations stating that the Chiefs and the referees are intertwined and that the referees help the Chiefs win ball games by giving them favorable calls. Many fans even think that the Eagles vs the Chiefs matchup in the Super Bowl, was the first time that the game was called fairly.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
