Paul Heyman Manipulates Jey Uso Into Putting His Title on the Line Against Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw

Ashish Negi

Jey Uso and Seth Rollins fought hard on Monday Night Raw.

Jey Uso started the Raw, and his fans blew the roof off the place to yeet for their champion. He was calling out Logan Paul for attacking him last Monday Night Raw, but Paul Heyman came out. Paul Heyman went on for 5 minutes about why he betrayed Roman Reigns and CM Punk. He then came to the point and asked Jey Uso for the title match on Seth Rollins’ behalf, anytime, anywhere.

Jey Uso immediately responded with a Yeet, and Adam Pearce officiated their match as the main event for today. Paul Heyman later revealed to Seth Rollins that Jey Uso fell for the trap. Seth Rollins didn’t give Jey Uso time to prepare for him, and it was apparent during their match. Jey Uso was focused on Logan Paul until the start of Raw on Netflix, but Seth Rollins gave him a test he didn’t prepare for.

Seth Rollins Won the Match, Jey Uso Retained the Title, No One is Happy

Seth Rollins and Jey Uso fought their hearts out in a match that checked the limits of their physical endurance. Seth Rollins dominated the match after catching Jey Uso off guard, but Jey Uso soon caught up. They performed some vicious moves on each other that would have won them the match on any given day, but neither of them was able to pin the other for a three-count.

Jey Uso executed a suicide dive that sent Seth Rollins crashing into the announcer’s table. As a result, Seth was busted open on the back of his head but continued to fight on. He took a superkick, followed by a spear and a Uso splash, yet he managed to kick out at the last moment. In turn, Jey Uso also kicked out after enduring a Pedigree followed by a stomp.

Throughout the match, there were numerous moments where it seemed one of them would secure the pin, but neither competitor was willing to give up. Bron Breakker was the first to interrupt, but Sami Zayn temporarily neutralized his threat. Bron Breakker delivered a brutal spear to Sami Zayn. He then delivered a vicious Spear to Jey Uso and sent him inside.

The match was all but over, but CM Punk entered the arena with a chair and took care of Bron Breakker. He then delivered two chair shots to Seth Rollins and drove him off the ring. Seth Rollins won the match via disqualification, but Jey Uso retained his title.
