Night of Champions 2025: Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight Match, Match Result

Rhea Ripley and Roxanne Perez fought in the most brutal match of their career.

Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez have had a bittersweet relationship ever since the NXT days. They have fought in five singles matches before today, and Rhea Ripley had a sheer dominance in the results, leading Raquel Rodriguez by 4-1. Back in the day, Rhea Ripley used to be a heel while Raquel was the face. The table, however, had turned ever since Raquel Rodriguez returned to help Liv Morgan and cost Rhea Ripley her Championship.

The rivalry was dormant for a long time, but resurfaced when Raquel Rodriguez cost Rhea Ripley, Queen of the Ring qualification. Rhea Ripley retaliated and cost Raquel Rodriguez her chance to qualify for the Queen of the Ring Semifinals. Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez brawled, but the latter was able to deliver a Tejana Bomb to Rhea, sending her through the table, all thanks to Roxanne Perez. This resulted in a Street Fight match between the two that took place tonight at Night of Champions.

Rhea Ripley Won the Street Fight Match Even After Roxanne Perez’s Interruption

Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez in the most brutal match of their career. The match shows usage of Kendosticks, a chair, steel stairs, a table, and whatnot. Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez know each other so well that they were able to dodge each other’s moves. Raquel Rodriguez dominated the match in the initial part of the match gaining advantage due to her sheer size.

Raquel Rodriguez was the first to use the Kendostick, delivering three shots to her midsection. Rhea retaliated by kicking the chair that had hit Raquel in the face and then throwing her onto the steel stairs. She then brutalized Raquel with the leather belt and followed it up with Razor’s Edge and a kick. The match would have ended here, but Roxanne Perez intervened.

Rhea Ripley took out Roxanne, but this allowed Raquel to gain strength. She threw Rhea Ripley towards the ring post and then towards the steel stairs. She followed it up with a cork screw vade bomb. Rhea Ripley took so much punishment but was still able to deliver a Riptide from the third rope to win the match. Rhea maintained her unbeaten streak against Raquel Rodriguez on the main roster, upping her score to 5-1.
