So much was expected from the 2025 Baltimore Ravens team, considering their recent success leading to multiple postseason appearances. The Ravens had made the postseason for 3 years in a row, and 4 of the last 5.
With a 2-time NFL MVP under center in Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry in the backfield, and a receiving core led by Zay Flowers, Baltimore had a stable offense. The defense has generally been one of the best in the league, but that was not the case last season.
Baltimore’s defense struggled mightily during the first half of the season. That, coupled with Lamar Jackson missing 4 games due to a hamstring injury, put the Ravens on the backfoot. The AFC North franchise started 1-5 prior to its bye week before going on a 5-game win streak. Eventually, the Ravens finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs.
In the aftermath that followed, the team management took the difficult yet bold decision of relieving John Harbaugh of his duties, the team’s head coach over the last 18 years. Baltimore is now heading into a new era of football led by former Chargers’ Defensive Coordinator, Jesse Minter.
After finishing the previous season with only 8 wins and 9 losses, the Baltimore Ravens are favored to win more than 10 games in the upcoming 2026-27 NFL season, as per the odds via DraftKings.
The table below shows the Over/Under for the Ravens’ total wins in the upcoming regular season.
| Baltimore Ravens 2026-27 regular season wins | |
| Over 10.5 | -145 |
| Under 10.5 | +120 |
Understanding how to bet on NFL games is crucial for maximizing the value of our expert picks and making informed wagers each week.
Overall, the Baltimore Ravens still have a very balanced roster with key playmakers on both sides of the ball. The AFC North has been quite a close division for several years, but the Steelers have a new head coach, and there is a big question mark about their quarterback position. The Browns are currently in a mess, and the Bengals have a bottom-tier defense.
This means that Baltimore has a great chance of taking maximum advantage of its division in the upcoming season. Even though getting up to speed with the new coaching system and schemes may take some time initially, the Ravens should still be the outright favorites to win the division and make a return to the postseason.
Looking at the Ravens’ upcoming schedule, they will be playing teams from the AFC South and the NFC South. Ideally, they should have an easier time against teams such as the Saints, Falcons, and Titans, to name a few. With that, here is a look at the Baltimore Ravens’ 2026-27 opponents.
As per the strength of schedule, the Ravens have the 9th-easiest schedule in the league for the 2026-27 NFL season. As discussed earlier, the Ravens should be the frontrunners within the division with 6 games against the Browns, Bengals, and Steelers.
Furthermore, as per the current rosters and teams, they would be the favorites against several teams, with the main challenges coming from the likes of the Jaguars, Chargers, Texans, Bills, and Buccaneers.
Early prediction: Ravens 2026-27 regular season record: 12-5

The Ravens have quite a few players with injury concerns during this offseason. Most of the players are not likely to miss the start of the season; however, their availability for training camp is questionable for the moment. Having said that, defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike missed most of the season with a neck injury, and his status for a return remains unknown.
Running back Justice Hill, wide receivers Rashod Bateman and Dayton Wade, linebacker Teddye Buchanan, defensive tackle Broderick Washington, and cornerback Nate Wiggins are some of the key players out injured, and their health will be crucial as the offseason progresses.
Buchanan is recovering from an ACL injury, and Washington is rehabbing from an Achilles injury. The recovery timeline for them could be longer. Overall, the Ravens should be healthy to start the new season, barring injuries that may crop up in training camp or preseason.
One of the top roster concerns for the Ravens is on the edge. A top pass rusher should be a priority given that they finished 29th in the league in sacks last season. Nnamdi Madubuike’s injury status is unclear, and if he doesn’t come back, the Ravens will lack some serious presence on the edge.
Next up is the O-line, where starting center Tyler Linderbaum is about to become a free agent, and starting guard Andrew Vorhees’ foot issue led to multiple sacks. The Ravens should tie down Linderbaum to an extension, but if not, the O-line will need some additional depth.
Additionally, the Ravens can use some help at the wide receiver position. Veteran receiver D’Andre Hopkins is set to become a free agent, and there is not much behind Zay Flowers. Rashod Bateman had just 19 catches for 224 yards last season, and he was the third-best receiver behind Flowers and Hopkins.
As per the latest information available, the Baltimore Ravens have a total of 7 draft picks in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft. They hold the 14th overall selection from the first round, which is a decent place to draft a top-quality player.
Further, they hold the number 45 and number 80 overall picks in the second and third rounds, respectively. Later, the Ravens will be drafting once in the fourth round, twice in the fifth round, and once again in the sixth round. Of course, things can change if they are involved in any trades prior to or during the days of the draft.
Baltimore’s current roster is pretty well balanced on both sides of the ball, and apart from a few crucial picks, they should be set up for the new season without too many issues in the roster. If they can nail the draft, it may help them add a couple more wins, but all in all, a Ravens side that plays to its full potential should easily find itself in the postseason.
