Nikola Vučević

Nikola Vučević was born on October 24, 1990, in Morges, Switzerland. He holds Montenegrin, Belgian, and American nationalities. Standing at 2.06 m (6’10”) tall and weighing 118 kg (260 lbs), Vučević plays as a center in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls. His basketball journey began at Stoneridge Preparatory in Simi Valley, California, during high school. He then played college basketball for the USC Trojans from 2008 to 2011. During his three seasons with the Trojans, Vučević averaged 11.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. In March 2011, he announced his decision to forgo his senior year and enter the NBA draft. He was an AP Honorable Mention All-American in 2011, First Team All-Pac-10 in 2011, and Second Team All-Pac-10 in 2010. Vučević was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers as the 16th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft on June 23, 2011. His professional career officially began in 2011 with Budućnost before joining the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2011-2012 season. He then moved to the Orlando Magic, where he played from 2012 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been with the Chicago Bulls. Throughout his career, Vučević has been selected to play in two NBA All-Star games (2019, 2021). He has averaged 17.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 972 regular season games across 14 seasons with the Magic, Bulls, and 76ers. He was also a member of the Montenegrin National Team, playing with them between 2010 and 2025. Vučević is represented by BDA Sports agency. As of October 21, 2025, he is 34 years old, just a few days short of his 35th birthday.
