Aaron Nesmith
Aaron Nesmith (born October 16, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nesmith played college basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores. During his sophomore season at Vanderbilt, he emerged as one of college basketball’s top shooters before his season was cut short due to a foot injury. He was highly regarded for his three-point shooting ability and his potential as a “3-and-D” player in the NBA. He was selected by the Boston Celtics as the 14th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. He spent two seasons with the Celtics, primarily coming off the bench. In July 2022, Nesmith was traded to the Indiana Pacers as part of a package for Malcolm Brogdon. With the Pacers, he has taken on a more consistent role and has continued to develop his game, focusing on his defensive capabilities and improved shooting. Off the court, Nesmith is known for his quiet demeanor and dedication to his craft. He has focused on improving his physical strength and overall game since entering the NBA.
