NBA Same Game Parlay for New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers (Game 1, 05/21)

The New York Knicks will host the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 21 (8:00 PM ET). The Knicks will enter after downing the defending champs Boston Celtics, in six games. On the other hand, the Pacers made short work of the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning 4-1.

The Knicks have played a bunch of close games in the playoffs. Most of their outcomes were decided within single digits. However, a 38-point Game 6 win against the Boston Celtics would have boosted their morale. I won’t go big on the spread but will take the projected one here.

Karl-Anthony Towns O 11.5 rebounds

Towns was all over the boards in the last series. He averaged 12.7 RPG in the series against the Celtics, grabbing 12 or more rebounds in four of six games. While the Pacers can be much more efficient, decreasing chances of defensive rebounding, I still see him going over the mark.

Both teams have crossed the 110+ mark on numerous occasions throughout the playoffs. However, I see a much more defensive-oriented battle in Game 1.

This is a rather risky SGP considering the high-scoring nature of the two teams, the form of the Pacers. However, I see the Knicks dictating the terms straightaway and setting a defensive tone, which will aid the spread, Towns’ rebounding, and the total predictions here.
