NBA Playoffs Props for Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game 1

The Minnesota Timberwolves will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 1 on 05/20 to tip off the Western Conference Finals. It is a fantastic series loaded with superstars Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Apart from that, star-level players Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Jalen Williams also make the betting field exciting. Here is a look at the most solid player props prospects for the series opener from BetMGM and FanDuel.

Julius Randle O 20.5 Points for +105 (BetMGM)

Randle has been on fire throughout the postseason. He averaged 25.2 points per game on an excellent 53.3% clip in the Western Conference Semi-Finals against the Golden State Warriors. He scored 29-31 points in the last two games of the series.

It was an uptick from his series average of 22.6 PPG against the LA Lakers. He has cleared the “Over” projection in eight of the last nine games. Thunder’s defense is better than the Lakers and the Warriors but I still see a big game from the big forward.

Chet Holmgren O 9.5 Rebounds for +105 (BetMGM)

Holmgren was a huge factor on the boards against the Denver Nuggets. He pinned down 10.9 RPG against the team with huge size in the front, going almost 3 RPG over his season mark.

His work on the rebounding end was decisive in the end, indicating that the 23-year-old is getting better at the craft. At any rate, I see him grabbing double-digit in what I perceive to be a low-scoring affair.

Mike Conley O 3.5 assists for -108 (FanDuel)

Conley’s production has significantly declined this season. He used to average 6+ assists per game regularly in earlier years, but dished just 5 APG in the previous series and merely 2.6 APG in the first round series.

Thus, the bookmakers are skeptical about him even hitting the 5 mark. However, I mark him to deliver around 4-5 assists here.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander U 30.5 points for -106 (FanDuel)

The MVP candidate put up an excellent 29.7 PPG on a brilliant 52.9% in the previous series against the Nuggets. I don’t see him shooting this high against the Wolves, but he can still reach the 30 PPG with more shots.

.The Thunder guard scored 30+ in five of the last seven games last series, so going for “Under” 30 can be risky, but I will make the pick, placing the faith on elite Timberwolves defense.

Jaden McDaniels O 12.5 for -120 (FanDuel)

McDaniels has managed some big-time moments in the playoffs thus far. The quick forward had two games with 25 or more points against the Lakers in the first round. On the other hand, the Warriors kept him quiet as his series high was 16.

The forward scored 13+ in three of the five games, and I see him crossing the mark in Game 1 against the Thunder.
