Phoenix Suns edged out the Chicago Bulls 121-117 to end a four-game losing skid. Devin Booker scored 29 points and eight assists, while Kevin Durant added 27. Bradley Beal added 25 points in his return to the starting lineup. Suns outscored Bulls 40-28 in the second quarter and it turned out to be decisive. Josh Giddey paced the Bulls with 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Chicago Bulls cut the 12-point deficit to three points in the third quarter but couldn’t prevail the sixth straight defeat.
Philadelphia 76ers extended their losing streak to seven matches after a two-point defeat against the Brooklyn Nets. Cam Johnson scored 23 points and Nic Claxton added 16. Trendon Watford contributed 16 in the win. The Sixers tied the game in final seconds of the fourth quarter from a 17-point deficit and Nic Claxton produced a game-winner for the Nets. Maxey led Philadelphia with a game-high 31 points.

Denver Nuggets suffered a 100-123 against the Lakers to snap their season-best nine-game winning streak. Luka Doncic improved from previous game and scored 32 points. LeBron James dropped 25 points, and Austin Reaves added 23. Rui Hachimura scored 21 before leaving early in fourth quarter. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with his 26th triple-double of the season. Aaron Gordon scored 24 points and Jamal Murray had 19. It was Denver’s second loss against the Lakers in last 15 games.

Utah Jazz sparked a 21-5 run in the fourth quarter to overcome the Houston Rockets. Keyonte George dropped 30 points and Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 23 points and 10 rebounds in Utah’s second win in nine-game homestand. Walker Kessler added 11 points and 17 rebounds, while Isaiah Collier had 12 points and 10 assists. Alperen Sengun charged Houston with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Jalen Green had 25 points and 10 assists, while Amen Thompson contributed 23.
Portland Trail Blazers routed Charlotte Hornets for their largest victory in franchise history. Anfernee Simons scored 25 points, including five 3-pointers. Toumani Camara scored 20 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists for the Trail Blazers. Shaedon Sharpe dropped 20 points off the bench, while Jabari Walker added 20 points and 14 rebounds. Miles Bridges was top performer for the Hornets with 17 points. Nick Smith Jr. chipped in with 14 points. Jusuf Nurkic had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists off the bench.
