The Golden State Warriors have been one of the best in the NBA, since adding Jimmy Butler to their arsenal. The trade has eased burden on Stephen Curry’s shoulder as he makes a new franchise record against the Sacramento Kings.

The Warriors guard, Curry recorded his 700th game for the franchise with 20 or more points in a win against the Sacramento Kings by 132-108. He becomes the only player to do so in Warriors’ history as the second best is Paul Arizin with 503 games. Stephen Curry made another historic record as he becomes the 21st player to record 700 games with 20 or more points. He tied Allen Iverson for this historic feat who was the 20th player and ended his career with exact 700 games.

Since the addition of Butler, Warriors are 4-1 and have accelerated their speed for the playoff spot. They currently sit ninth in the western conference and only 2.5 games behind the sixth-seed, the Los Angeles Clippers.
