There’s an F1 legend who currently rests in his mansion in Switzerland. He has the record for the most titles in F1. Schumacher was the first driver to reach the seven world championships mark in F1. He is also the only driver to win five consecutive world championship titles. To this day, he is still the only driver to finish every race in a season on the podium (2002 F1 championship).

Yes, we are talking about the legendary driver Michael Schumacher. The former Formula 1 driver for Germany is a once in a generation talent who graced F1. His impact on the sport automatically made him the benchmark for any F1 driver. Lewis Hamilton is the only F1 driver to break or equal his records. Schumacher has battled against many past world champions, defeating them. He brought forward a radical change in Ferrari during his career, making them a force to be reckoned with when he was with them.

Michael Schumacher retired from Formula 1 at the end of 2013. He spent his last season with the Mercedes AMG F1 team. Schumacher contributed with Nico Rosberg to help Mercedes grow into one of the fastest and most successful teams of the 21st century in F1.

In 2013, Schumacher had an unfortunate accident which nearly took his life. He was comatose and kept away from the public eyes. Michael Schumacher’s condition is a mystery to the public as it is kept private from their eyes. However, a recent development has provided his fans with hope that his condition might be improving steadily.

Corinna Schumacher Helps Michael Schumacher Autograph Sir Jackie Stewart’s Helmet

Sir Jackie Stewart has decided to auction off his F1 helmet for charity. He has obtained autographs from the living F1 champions in order to raise funds. The proceeds of this auction shall go to Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia. As reported by Daily Mail, Sir Jackie Stewart visited Michael Schumacher to ask for his autograph for the helmet.

Michael Schumacher signed the helmet with his initials, “MS”. He was helped by his wife, Corinna Schumacher. The aim of Sir Stewart’s foundation is to fund a new blood test trial for dementia. The University of Cambridge has taken the initiative for this trial. Sir Stewart’s wife, Helen, has also been suffering from the same disease since 2014.

Sir Jacie Stewart was delighted to secure the last autograph for his world champion edition helmet. He said in an interview with Daily Mail–

“It is wonderful that Michael could sign the helmet in this worthy cause – a disease for which there is no cure. His wife helped him, and it completed the set of every single champion still with us.”

There is still no information available about Schumacher’s health to the public. The entire F1 community is praying for his speedy recovery. Mick Schumacher, his son, is currently keeping his legacy alive in motorsports.
