The 2025 Bahrain GP Results can be considred boring like Suzuka. Their was little to no action among the front runners. The only exciting moments of the race came forth when FIA started handing penalties like Christmas candies. The entire result was basically a round table discussion among stewards for handing out the best penalties. They left everyone handing even after the results came out. It was like a cliffhanger of a cliche web series. Except, you are so annoyed by it that you just want it to end.
Nevertheless, the backmarkers and middle of the field had some interesting moments of their own. Maybe, Lando Norris was a bit more eager to start the race as we will read later. Oh and let’s not forget the confetti of Carlos Sainz’s car spraying carbon fiber all over the track.
The safety car got a chance to show its talents early on in the race. And noone would disagree on the fact that watching Bernd Maylander was better than sleeping through the race.
The Bahrain GP marks the end of the fourth race in F1. There have been some crucial changes in the driver’s championship. The Aussie wonder, Oscar Piastri has stepped up to second place. He would be leading the championship if Lando Norris could not get past Charles Leclerc today. McLaren have extended their lead furhter out of reach of their fellow competitors.

Oscar Piastri is the highlight of the event today. Piastri raced away from the grid from the first lap itself (as if he was being chased by zombies). It seems like Lando Norris’s prediction somewhat came true in Bahrain. Piastri was entirely forgotten from the race until he was crowned as the victor. The gap he built by the end of the race was so huge that you could take a beauty nap before the next driver crossed the finish line (for obvious reasons that’s sarcasm).
George Russell claimed second finish. However, the Mercedes driver was bullied by the FIA into thinking that he had lost his podium. He was driving competitively considering the machinery he was in. Even without his DRS, he defended pretty well against the onslaught of Lando Norris. He was skeptical about using soft tyres for his second stint yet he never felt a loss of grip (To confuse the enemy you must confuse yourself first- Sun Tzu probably). Lando Norris managed to break through his horrible stints in the race by claiming a podium. He jump started the race receiving a penalty of 5s. Then he was completely defeated by Leclerc for the majority of the race until he overtook him for the podium.
Kudos to Charles Leclerc for claiming fourth place. He faced DRS issues and could not use his DRS at all. Still, he managed to keep away Norris until the grip of his tyres simply gave up on him. Lewis Hamilton claimed Driver of the Day and ended up finishing fifth in the race.
Bahrain GP 2025 Results- Double Points for Red Bull and Haas
Max Verstappen got a sixth place finish in the race. Considering his two botched pitstops and the numerous issues he faced throughout the race, Verstappen actually did an impressive job. He has reminded us once again, that the four championships are not a fluke. Pierre Gasly would be please to finish in points for Alpine finally. They have managed to bring the first points of the season.
Estebcan Ocon and Oliver Bearman finished 8th and 10th respectively to give Haas yet another double points finish. Haas is looking much better in the midfield this season. But, Haas’s joy in nothing compared to Red Bull Racing. They finally got a point from their second seat (wipes fake tears). Red Bull have not won a single point from their second seat since COTA in 2024. Yuki Tsunoda has made them proud. Although, Tsunoda’s best moment was the snipe he pulled out Carlos Sainz exterminating him from the grid today.
Bahrain GP 2025 Results- Rest of the Grid
The remaining part of the grid are composed of the drivers who were so close yet too far from getting the best results. Kimi Antonelli and Alexander Albon finally finished their consistent points finish run. They both suffered from bad strategy decisions.
Isack Hajdar and Jack Doohan need to try harder if they want to conquer against this field full of race winning veterans. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll make you feel bad for Adrian Newey now with the performance Aston Martin is displaying.
Liam Lawson on the other hand was busy playing “annoy the stewards” so he could only finish 17th with the amount of penalties he had. Gabriel Bortoleto is the last driver to finish the race yet again. He will be praying for Audi to be competitive with his team next team. Carlos Sainz’s retirement led to the first bad weekend Willaims faced this season. Nico Hulkemberg fell prey to post-race inspections and got disqualified.
