Lando Norris Asks Red Bulls to Stop “Complaining” About His “Well-Built” Mclaren!

Lando Norris is among the title favorites this season due to the race pace of his car in the first three races of the season. He is leading the championship standings and has already secured a victory in 2025. Norris has an incredibly fast McLaren which can decimate the entire grid if raced well enough. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen will be pitted directly against each other at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Verstappen starts in seventh whereas Lando Norris starts the race in sixth position. The Qualifying session was incredibly tough for Lando Norris who remarked that he felt like he had never driven an F1 car before. Meanwhile, his teammate Oscar Piastri is on pole for the race.

McLaren were scrutinised highly by Formula 1 this season for their “mini-DRS” rear wings. This made them the prime target of FIA over exploiting loop holes. It was revealed that Red Bull had tipped off the FIA about this new loophole in hopes of kerbing McLaren’s speed. Although, they have been largely unsuccessful. McLaren is still faster than them by a huge margin.

Lando Norris had a reply ready for the teams suspecting them over foul play this season.

Lando Norris Lashes Out at Red Bull’s Accusations

F1 follows a mandatory cycle every year. They decide to introduce a new set of regulations- a team finds out a cheeky loophole- it utilises the new rules to create an insanely fast car- the other teams cry about it and get it banned. Red Bull has been prime example of a team which utilises loopholes. Although, it seems this year, the Bulls are not really happy to be on the receiving end of a so called “unfair advantage”. Red Bull has been raising this topic non-step this year.

Max Verstappen himself is taking jibes at his championship contender. Verstappen even went as far as to claim he “wouldn’t be seen” if he was driving a McLaren. Lando Norris seems quite irritated by these situations. When asked about it, he has a simple but blunt reply for his competitors over at Milton Keynes.

“Red Bull have plenty of time to do the same things as us and they’re not. It is more that they should do a better job than complaining about things.”

Norris’s reply is sure to cause mayhem in the Red Bull garage. It is clear that Norris has implied that Red Bull Racing are being crybabies instead of trying to compete. His words are already rubbing salt into the wounds they have faced after losing their master aerodynamicist, Adrian Newey to Aston Martin.

Will Red Bull Manage to Outsmart McLaren?

Max Verstappen has been vocal about the problems he is facing at Red Bull this year. The Dutchman has not hidden his disapproval about Red Bull Racing and their decisions from the public. There are a lot speculations about Verstappen leaving Red Bull Racing after his current contract expires. Red Bull Racing may have won the Japanese Grand Prix but Verstappen has not found any confidence in his car. He is facing braking issues since the start of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.

Red Bull Racing’s complaints also did not cause any harm to McLaren’s performance. FIA did bring in new regulations about the flexible rear wing but McLaren are unaffected and fast. It seems that Red Bull’s cries and they have damaged their reputation further in the paddock.
