The Formula 1 championship of 2025 is getting more and more intense with every race weekend. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris have a machine which is clearly ahead of the field. But Max Verstappen is hunting them down even with an underperforming car at his disposal. Russell’s performance has gone down and it seems like Mercedes is losing out. Ferrari have finally started competing on equal grounds and they were able to claim their first podium finish.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have nearly equal odds for winning the race. The Briton has been going through a tough phase this season after leading the championship comfortably for the first four races. His teammate, Oscar Piastri has been nearly perfect after his first mistake in Australia. Max Verstappen is losing out but he is still fighting for the championship. Verstappen could not help but admire Piastri’s consistency as a racing driver.
Considering the odds, Lando Norris might come out as the winner of the Miami Grand Prix. He has the pace necessary to fight his rivals and his performance last weekend was simply marvellous. Norris just needs to make full use of his speed in qualifying and not fumble out in the race.
I work as a Writer at The Playoffs specialising in Formula 1 and Motorsports. I got into online journalism a couple of years ago. I used to be an intern for a website managing their Formula 1 content and then I served an entire year as a contractual writer.
Read moreFor me, online journalism was not something I expected. I am a Mechanical Engineer aiming to join Formula 1. At the same time, I am a poet, writer and my university's Literary Club Lead. One day the dots connected together and I realised I could use my writing skills to convey my passion for Motorsports.
The biggest aspects I love about my role are- Scuderia Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. When I am not fawning over them I like to convey my opinions to the public, in a manner which helps them gain a new point of view. I love helping people explore new ideas about Motorsports and obviously get recognised as a writer all over the world.
