Premier League Summer Series 2025: Manchester United vs Everton Match Preview, Betting Odds, and Predictions.

Manchester United will look to wrap up the 2025 Premier League Summer Series with a flawless record as they take on Everton in their final match of the tournament on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia. The Red Devils are currently leading the table with six points from two matches.

Meanwhile, Everton are dwelling at the bottom of the table. They’ve lost both of their opening games. The Merseyside club will be desperate to avoid a fourth consecutive pre-season defeat. Especially with just one more warm-up fixture at hand before the new season kicks off.

Manchester United vs Everton Preview

Manchester United

Ruben Amorim’s side have impressed in the U.S. so far. They’ve secured back-to-back wins over West Ham United and Bournemouth after a goalless draw with Leeds in their opening friendly. Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes have been key performers. Recent arrival Bryan Mbeumo could make his debut, likely from the bench.

Matheus Cunha, rested last time out, may make his return and support Rasmus Hojlund in attack. Joshua Zirkzee may feature after overcoming a minor knock. Harry Maguire is fit despite his early substitution against Bournemouth. And the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Manuel Ugarte, and Altay Bayindir are also expected to return to the starting XI.

Everton

Everton will be without Jarrad Branthwaite because of an injury. This will be a notable absence in defence. Head coach David Moyes is expected to shake up his lineup after they suffered a 2-1 loss to West Ham. New forward Thierno Barry, who came off the bench previously, could be handed a start up front.

Former Red Devils players Michael Keane and James Garner are both in contention to play against their old club. Meanwhile first-team regulars Idrissa Gueye, James Tarkowski, and Jordan Pickford are also likely to feature from the outset. The Toffees are still adjusting, with four new signings integrated so far.

Manchester United vs Everton Over/ Under Predictions

Total Goals Over 3.5 @ +180 as per BetMGM:

Manchester United are entering this match as heavy favourites after a commanding Premier League Summer Series campaign in the United States. They sit at the top of the four‑team group with six points. They’ve already beaten West Ham by a 2‑1 margin and then thrashed Bournemouth by a 4‑1 margin.

Everton, by contrast, have lost both their games in the tournament. They’ve conceded a combined five goals while scoring none. Head‑to‑head data shows over 30% of these two teams’ past encounters have ended within 3.5 goals. However, with United’s recent form and Everton’s defensive frailties, the match is likely to exceed that threshold.

Manchester United vs Everton Player Picks

Bruno Fernandes to either score or assist anytime @ -110 as per FanDuel:

Captain Bruno Fernandes has delivered consistently throughout the Premier League Summer Series 2025. He scored both goals in Red Devils’ 2‑1 win over West Ham and orchestrated United’s play largely. With United dominating possession and creating chances freely, and Fernandes central to their set‑piece and creative output, backing him for either a goal or an assist at roughly −110 is a sound and likely successful bet.

Amad Diallo to score anytime @ +170 as per BetMGM:

Amad Diallo has featured briefly in each of United’s three pre‑season fixtures. Even then he managed at least one shot per game and even scored in the win over Bournemouth. Despite limited minutes, his sharpness and consistent involvement gives confidence that he could find the net again. Betting odds at +170 for Diallo as an anytime scorer reflect a realistic chance. Especially given Everton’s struggles and United’s aggressive attacking tempo.

Amad Diallo to Score First+550
Mason Mount to Assist Anytime+270
Bruno Fernandes to Score Two or More+1100

Man United have been dominant in the Summer Series. They’ve scored six goals from two games and conceded only one goal each in the two games. Meanwhile, Everton have been unable to find the net or shore up their defence.

Final Prediction: Manchester United 4-0 Everton

A 4-0 win for Manchester United looks possible. Man United’s attacking trio, including Diallo and Fernandes, look sharp, while Everton’s back‑line has leaked goals in both matches so far. United need only a draw to clinch the Summer Series, so it is expected that they will stay sharp.
