Lyra Valkyria’s Mentor Turns Heel on her after losing the Tag Team title

Lyra Valkyria lost the title and a mentor both.

Lyra Valkyria rose to the top very soon and has been a dominant champion who turns everything she touches into gold. She, alongside Bayley, defeated five tag teams to win the gauntlet match and qualified for the WWE Women’s tag team championship match at WrestleMania. Someone, however, attacked Bayley, which tore her labrum and dislocated her shoulder on WrestleMania Day 1.

Bayley was deemed medically unfit to wrestle, and Lyra Valyria had just one day to find a replacement. She found Becky Lynch as her tag team partner. They defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Women’s tag team championship. Becky Lynch returned to WWE and became the tag team champion in her first match. Lyra Valkyria also became the double champ after her first WrestleMania match.

The Championship Reign that lasted just one day

Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria had to defend their tag team title against the former champions, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Both teams fought hard, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. There were numerous moments in the match that forced the crowd to chant, “This is Awesome.” Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are known to cheat their way to win.

Becky was able to fight her way to victory yesterday. Lyra Valkyria wasn’t able to tap her partner and, at last, fell prey to Judgment Day’s trick ways of winning. Liv Morgan delivered an Oblivion to Lyra Valkyria and pinned her to win their titles back.

Becky Lynch proved to be a Sour Loser, viciously attacked Lyra Valkyria

Becky Lynch didn’t take the loss kindly and attacked Lyra Valkyria after the match. She viciously attacked her tag team partner, throwing one punch after the other at her. She then delivered two Manhandle Slams before leaving the ring. She was on her way when the crowd asked her to perform the move one more time, chanting “Once more”. She delivered another Manhandle Slam to Lyra Valkyria before leaving the ring.
