Martinez has scored nine goals in nine games for Inter in UCL 2024/25 until the finals. Scoring three goals in the past four games, the Inter skipper took a knock in the second leg of the FC Barcelona. Ahead of the finals, Martinez has assured he’s ready for the finals against PSG,
Intercaptain Lautaro Martínez, despite playing through pain, played a pivotal role in his team’s triumph over Barcelona. Sharing updates on his injury a few weeks later, Martinez in his interview:
“I spent two days at home crying because the first two days were hard. My leg was in so much pain, I couldn’t lift it. Thanks to the doctors and physios who did a great job – and worked overtime – I could go into the game, not at 100%, but in the best conditions [possible].”
Thuram who sustained an adductor injury in April is also expected to be back for the finals. According to a report from SempreInter, Inzaghi rested Thuram against Como during the final weekend of Serie A.
As a result, the Frenchman should be in good condition for Saturday as the 20-time Italian champions strive for European glory
