Lakers host Mavericks for one of the biggest matchups of the season.
The emotional stakes are high as Los Angeles Lakers (34-21) and Dallas Mavericks (31-27) will lock horns in a highly-anticipated NBA matchup on Tuesday. It will be the first clash between two Western Conference heavyweights since the blockbuster trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis.
Los Angeles have become a championship contender after a 8-2 record in the last ten games. The Lakers moved to fourth in the West and comfortably beat the Nuggets 123-100 in the previous game. Over the last 15 games, JJ Redick’s side have the best defensive rating (106.4) in the league. Lakers ran the offense through James and Doncic more frequently, which helped them to post 34-21 in regular season.
Dallas, on the other hand are 5-5 through last ten games and are coming into this game on the back of a loss against Warriors.
