Bronny James debuts Nike LeBron Nxxt Gen AMPD PE during South Bay Lakers’ clash against Valley Suns

The Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James was spotted debuting the Nike LeBron Nxxt Gen AMPD PE during the South Bay Lakers’ clash against the Valley Suns on Sunday. The game saw South Bay recording a 118-98 win over the rivals, putting an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bronny James, who finished the game with 24 points, 6 assists, five rebounds, stepped onto the court in custom shoes. The pair had a hot pink colorway with glossy and metallic finish. Not only this, but it also had the Nike logo in fluorescent green and gold shade, blending in with Bronny’s energetic young spirit.

To add personalization to it, Bronny also had his jersey No. 9 embedded on it. After the game, the 20-year-old also spoke about the customization of his father, LeBron James’ iconic signature shoes. He revealed that Nike gave him the freedom to get creative in designing the James Sr’s signature sneakers.

“The [LeBron] 20s, me and my brother [Bryce James] helped a lot of those, designing the structure of the shoe and kind of changing that small forward, like forward-ish shoe to a guard shoe. I think it helps not only us, but other people, other guard to go out and buy those shoes,” Bronny said while talking about the creative process in customization of the shoes.

He also shed a light about the availability of the shoes for the customers to buy. James said that while he is not allowed to reveal the information, there might be chances of the same. “I don’t know if we can get this information out but yeah,” the youngster said.

Bronny James recalled to Los Angeles Lakers ahead of anticipated Mavs matchup

The 20-year-old has been recalled to join his dad and Co. in his NBA side ahead of the anticipated clash. The Lakers, seeded fifth in the West, will be up against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, February 25 at home.

It will be the first game after the blockbuster Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade that took place earlier this month. Needless to say, the stakes will be high in the forthcoming game.
