Kofi Kingston Avenges Xavier Wood, Gets Revenge on Penta, With Outside Help On Monday Night Raw

Kofi Kingston registered a win over Penta in a singles match with the help of Grayson Waller and Xavier Woods, who were present at his ringside. Penta from the very beginning had to deal with Kofi Kingston inside the ring and Grayson Waller and Xavier Woods outside it.

While Penta was able to dominate the match to its entirety even after regular interruptions, the match still finished with him losing as Grayson Waller’s interruption from outside gave Kofi time to catch Penta off guard and deliver a Trouble in Paradise to him to win the match.

Penta, while able to defeat Xavier Woods last week, was not able to overcome the numbers game this time. New Day will finally have something to celebrate, as they have been in deep sorrow ever since they lost their tag team titles. Penta, on the other hand, suffered a heartbreak in Birmingham.

New Day, And Their Penta Problem Ended Tonight?

Penta single-handedly took down Xavier Woods even when there were numerous outside interruptions last week. The fortune, however, did not favor him tonight as he finally succumbed to the number’s game. Penta has seldom been pinned in WWE ever since his debut at the Netflix Premiere, which makes this win a big one for New Day.

This win will, however, put New Day on Penta’s target again. He never backs down from a challenge, and he would look for another opportunity to settle the score against Kofi Kingston. Adam Pearce, too, seems hellbent on punishing New Day for their rants, which means they might face Penta again in a few weeks.
