John Cena, the legend in WWE, A hero everyone wants to be, a beacon of light, turned evil at the Elimination Chamber. The hero who lived long enough to turn villain became the 17-time World Champion at WrestleMania 41. His policy, Hustle Loyalty and Respect, changed to do whatever it takes to get what you want.

This policy has helped him so far, as he defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania and Randy Orton at Backlash. He defeated his arch-rivals in a hard-fought match thanks to his new finisher, low blow, and Championship belt to the head, and his fans and brother from another mother, R-truth.

John Cena and Randy Orton have featured in numerous matches, and their matches have been the epitome of professional wrestling. No matter the place, no matter the age, whenever they meet inside the wrestling ring, they make the crowd go berserk. Their matches till now have been the biggest crowd puller, which was proven at Backlash 2025. The only difference was John Cena being the heel for the first time.

Randy Orton was just one Punt Kick away from winning his 15th WWE Championship when R-Truth stopped him. Randy Orton delivered an RKO to him, but this gave John Cena the opportunity to deliver a low blow and hit Randy on his head with the Championship belt. R-truth came in to congratulate John Cena during the post show interview and stated he believed in him even though everyone said he sucks and can’t wrestle.

John Cena didn’t like it one bit and sent him through the table with an RKO. R-Truth, in his interview with Wade Barrett, stated that the man doing the interview wasn’t John Cena and that John would never turn his back on his friends and his people. He stated that if he had to beat John Cena back to his senses, he would do it and announced that he would face him at Saturday Night Main Event.

John Cena would not lose his title to R-Truth since the WWE Undisputed Championship is not on the line. WWE has bigger plans ahead, however, we might see John Cena’s new alliance, given he won his last two matches with an interruption from Travis Scott at WrestleMania and R-Truth at Backlash. The burning question is who it’s going to be this time.

Seth Rollins and John Cena might ally at the end of Saturday Night Main Event. This would set up the thing so nicely for Seth Rollins to betray John towards the end of his career to become the WWE Undisputed Champion and make him turn face again.
