John Cena is going to war with R-Truth once again in their WWE careers. Their WWE match will be happening at Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXIX on May 24, 2025. However, John Cena’s Undisputed WWE title will not be on the line in this fight. R-Truth has hilariously considered John Cena to be his childhood hero since he became a babyface.

R-Truth has mimicked John Cena’s famous hand gesture and his finisher, the Attitude Adjustment on his opponents in the ring. Moreover, he also imitated John Cena United States Open Challenge as his own when he won the title. However, R-Truth has become disappointed due to John Cena’s heel turn. John Cena Is Confused by the Fact That He Is R-Truth’s Childhood Hero

John Cena appeared at the Philadelphia Fan Expo more recently as per reports. He was asked about his thoughts about being the childhood hero of R-Truth. John Cena appeared confused and then replied with (WrestlingWorldCC on Instagram)-

“How in the space-time continuum can I be R-Truth’s childhood hero when he’s 150 years old. It doesn’t make sense.”

Meanwhile R-Truth himself has posted a new profile picture of himself completely dressed in John Cena’s attire (via Ron Killings on X).

R-Truth or Ron Killings in reality though, is really older than John Cena. R-Truth is presently 53 years old while John Cena is presently 48 years old. Hence, he is five years younger than R-Truth. John Cena stating that R-truth is 150 years old is an example of him being in character as the heel and sarcastic of his opponent’s remarks.

John Cena’s war against R-Truth is a direct fallout from the incident that took place betwee them during the press conference after Backlash John Cena was attempting to answer the reporters question when R-Truth interrupted him.
