Jiri Prochazka challenges his UFC rival to an epic third fight after epic domination of Jamahal Hill at UFC 311!
Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill both know the sting of Alex Pereira’s legendary left hook. After getting knocked out by ‘Poatan’ in their respective title fights, these two former champions met at UFC 311 to figure out who would get another crack at the Brazilian knockout artist.
The energy was electric even before the first punch was thrown. These light heavyweights were so eager, and the intense staredown proved that. Mike Beltran was the referee, and his presence (with his massive mustache) made the atmosphere more electric!

Once the fight actually started, the former light heavyweight champions spent a couple of minutes sizing each other up. Both men twitched and feinted, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
When Prochazka finally found his rhythm, he dropped Hill with a beautiful combination that kicked off an absolute firefight. By the time the first round ended, Hill’s face told the story – a bloody nose and a swollen eye. ‘BJP’ cut angles beautifully, something that was not seen from him before.
The second round brought its own drama, complete with two eye pokes, one from each fighter. Hill managed to land a nasty body shot on Jiri Prochazka. It hurt the Czech fighter, but he didn’t succumb to it.

But the third round belonged to the Czech samurai. Prochazka hurt Jamahal Hill early and kept the pressure on. To his credit, Hill showed incredible toughness, bouncing back from the first knockdown of the round. However, when Jiri Prochazka caught him again, there was no coming back. The former champ followed Hill to the ground and unleashed a barrage of strikes that forced referee Mike Beltran to step in and save Hill from his own toughness.

Prochazka’s victory speech was not his usual one. Firstly, he dedicated his win to Ashley (the cancer patient that Jiri flew to see him fight). He then grabbed the mic from Joe Rogan and called out Alex Pereira with the kind of enthusiasm that is not usually seen from him.
“F*** man! I want a third fight with Alex Pereira!”
Hearing the stoic Jiri Prochazka swear made the crowd go absolutely bonkers. The cameras caught Pereira in the audience, and in true Pereira fashion, he responded with his trademark “Chama” catchphrase, looking clearly excited!
