Paddy Pimblett has recently received praise from one of his former rivals in the UFC. This rival is Jared “Flash” Gordon. He emerged as the winner in his fight against Thiago Moises at UFC Fight Night on May 17, 2025. However, Gordon also playfully jabbed at his former rival while praising him. Jared Gordon took part in the post fight interview after UFC Vegas after his win on May 17, 2025. He was questioned about Paddy Pimblett, his former rival and he had the utmost respect while also giving a cheeky jab. Jared Gordon responded with the statement (via Verdict MMA App on Instagram) –

“How could you not like Paddy? They did a great job matching him. He’s funny and he’s winning, but I still think I’m on a six-fight unbeaten streak.”

However, Jared Gordon also playfully jabbed Paddy Pimblett by saying that it took him 20 minutes to get to the ring during their fight. However, he enjoyed it and is happy for his former rival. Gordon also stated that he would love to fight Paddy Pimblett once again (MMA Junkie on YouTube).

Fans were not happy with the decision because Jared “Flash” Gordon had won two of the three round fight between them. Paddy Pimblett had wanted a rematch against Jared Gordon but Jared Gordon refused the rematch at the time.
