Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant also congratulated his former teammate and Clippers star James Harden on passing Ray Allen in career three-pointers.
James Harden accomplished a new milestone in his career by creating history for the LA Clippers against the Utah Jazz. The 35-year-old guard scored 20 points and six rebounds in a 116-105 win over the Jazz on Sunday night. During the first quarter, Harden made a history when he scored a three-pointer.

The Los Angeles guard moved into second place on the NBA’s all-time list of 3-pointers after scoring 2,974 triples for his career. Harden reached the historic mark in the first quarter with a triple from the right wing. The All-Star guard surpassed Ray Allen who made 2,973 three-pointers. Harden completed the feat in 215 fewer games than the hall-of-fame sharpshooter but on over 700 more attempts.
Harden is now only behind Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry who recorded 3,782 three-pointers. It won’t be easy to break Curry’s record because the veteran will add more in the upcoming games and the margin between the two is huge.
