Golden State Warriors will also miss De’Anthony Melton and Lindy Waters for Monday’s game against the Clippers due to injuries.
The Golden State Warriors may face a big blow ahead of the crucial game against the LA Clippers. Stephen Curry who has been outstanding this season for the side, is dealing with an injury. As per the fresh report, the 36-year-old point guard is not sure about his availability for Monday’s game.
Earlier today, Anthony Slater reported that Stephen Curry remains questionable for the upcoming matchup due to left knee bursitis. Warriors also added Kevon Looney’s name on the injury report who is also questionable with an illness. It could be a big blow for the Warriors who have posted 10-2 record in the West.
Steph Curry is questionable for Monday night encounter because of the knee bursitis. An injury analyst and professor of UCSF Orthopedic Surgery, Dr Nirav Pandya shared his thoughts on this injury via the social media platform ‘X’.
“Bursa are fluid-filled sacs that help to reduce friction around joints. In the knee, the bursa around the knee cap can get inflammation (i.e. bursitis). This usually occurs from contact/fall. Treatment is typically rest, ice, and anti-inflammatories,” Dr. Nirav Pandya said.

“I’ve been through plenty of those episodes. I know whether it’s something I can play on or not,” said Stephen Curry earlier this month. The veteran guard has a previous record of injuries as he had a knee injury around the same time last year. We can sense his comeback date with the recovery process of such injuries. Last time, Curry missed out one week of NBA action and ideally, 3-4 games should be covered in knee injuries.
Warriors are already competing in the NBA Cup along with the regular season. Curry will surely miss the upcoming two games against La Clippers and Atlanta Hawks. Both games are not part of the Cup series where the Warriors are ahead 1-0. Curry’s absence period will not be longer and Steve Kerr will figure out something without the key player.
Golden State Warriors will also miss De’Anthony Melton and Lindy Waters for Monday’s game against the Clippers due to injuries. It means, the Warriors will enter the fixture without several key players. Moses Moody, Buddy Hield, and Brandin Podziemski are likely to step up for the Warriors. Moody and Hield are two deserving candidates considering their form. Meanwhile, Podziemski needs to improve his game following an impressive rookie year.
