There is no doubt that Jadon Sancho has no future at Manchester United. Conflicting reports from the media have emerged regarding his potential move to Juventus in the summer transfer window. Several sources suggested previously that the English winger was on the brink of joining the Serie A giants.

However, fresh updates have cast doubt over the deal. Earlier in the window, Juventus reportedly submitted an improved offer of close to £15 million for Sancho. That offer narrowed the gap with United’s valuation of £25 million.

However, as per the journalist and transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, negotiations have since been put “on hold”. Reportedly, the Italian club are finalising other deals. This includes the permanent signing of Francisco Conceição from Porto and the sale of Samuel Mbangala to Werder Bremen.

However, Juventus have not completely withdrawn their interest. Even so, they’re losing the ground on the transfer as Inter Milan have also entered the fray. Reports are suggesting that the Nerazzurri have made initial contact with both Sancho’s representatives and Manchester United.

Nottingham Forest are another Premier League side linked with the 25-year-old. This comes after Elanga’s £55 million move to Newcastle United. However, with the situation changing so frequently, it’s tough to say which team will acquire him.

Manchester United Keen to Resolve Jadon Sancho Saga

The winger’s stint at Old Trafford has been underwhelming since his £71 million arrival at Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021. Despite brief flashes of brilliance, Sancho struggled for consistency. He even often found himself sidelined under Erik ten Hag.

His loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea failed to secure a permanent exit. Then Chelsea opted to pay a £5 million penalty to avoid their £25 million buy obligation. David Ornstein of The Athletic has dismissed claims of an imminent Juventus transfer.

He also added that Napoli’s interest currently appears more concrete. Ornstein stated, “That is not accurate as I understand it at all and I’m not quite sure where that has emanated from. There is an element of interest from Napoli.”

Sancho’s hefty £250,000-a-week wage remains a significant stumbling block for potential suitors. United are reportedly prepared to reduce their asking price and even consider paying part of his wages to facilitate a move. United are hoping to resolve Sancho’s future swiftly and soon.
