Jade Cargill Injury: What Happened to Jade Cargill?

Ashish Negi

Jade Cargill, an anomaly in the women’s division of SmackDown, fought tonight in a triple-threat against Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. The stakes were high as the WWE Women’s title was on the line. A fight between the superhuman strength of Jade Cargill, the size advantage of Nia Jax, and the agility of Tiffany Stratton entertained the crowd but proved to be brutal for all three wrestlers.

Since it was a triple-threat, there were no disqualifications, no countouts, and the only ways to win were via pinfall and submission. Tiffany Stratton proved herself once again as she retained the WWE Women’s Championship and will now face Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.

What Happened to Jade Cargill?

Jade Cargill was busted open when Nia Jax threw her into the steel stairs. She would have won her first championship when she performed Jaded on Tiffany Stratton, but Nia Jax pulled the referee out before she could count to three. Jade Cargill went outside to send Nia Jax through the table, but this move proved to be her biggest mistake as she couldn’t lift her.

Nia Jax threw Jade Cargill into the steel stairs, and the latter was busted open upon impact. Jade Cargill then performed a Samoan Drop on Nia Jax on the steel stairs. The referee then checked on Jade Cargill. It was great to see Jade Cargill compete. She performed an Eye of the Storm on Nia Jax inside the ring.

Jade Cargill would receive treatment backstage and might get taped up. WWE has not disclosed the full details of the injury, and we sincerely hope that it is not serious. We will provide updates as soon as we receive any information.
