Iga Swiatek vs. Amanda Anisimova Head-to-Head Comparison, Prediction and Betting Odds for Wimbledon 2025 Final

Gulshan Sharma

A first Wimbledon final for Swiatek and Anisimova, who will win the title?

The stage is set for the classic women’s singles final in the 2025 Wimbledon championship at Centre Court on Saturday as the former No. 1 and five-time major champion, Iga Swiatek will take on Amanda Anisimova for the title glory. The Polish ace overcame Belinda Bencic and Anisimova surprised Sabalenka in the semifinals to reach their first-ever Wimbledon final. Both players will play each other for the first time.

Iga Swiatek always had a poor run on the grass court but she upset all the odds to reach the maiden Wimbledon final. She dropped only two games in the semifinals and reached her first Grand Slam final since the 2024 Roland Garros. Swiatek failed to defend the title in Paris last month but reached her first grass-court final at Bad Homburg where she lost to Pegula. Bad Homburg was a trailer before the Wimbledon and the Polish ace proved everyone wrong by reaching the final.

She has claimed eight straight-set wins on clay this summer, surpassing her clay-season tally. She dropped only one set through out the competition. Her semifinal record was improved to 6-3 with a win on Thursday but her recent run in the finals has been a concern. Swiatek hasn’t won a singles title since 2024 French Open where he beat Jasmine Paolini to win her fifth Grand Slam. With a 8-1 grass court record, the former No. 1 has given a slight hope to win the Wimbledon this year.

Amanda Anisimova was not even in the frame for the title clash but she upset all the odds to reach her first-ever Wimbledon semifinal. The American ace outclassed the world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in a three-set thriller. Anisimova recently had a runner-up finish at Queen’s Club and posted a 12-2 record on grass this year.

Anisimova also secured one victory in the Wimbledon without losing a single game and single set. She made a return to the top-10 this year and won the title in the WTA 1000. She has 13 wins against the top-10 players. In previous two Slams, an American player won the title so Anisimova would look to repeat the same in London.
