Los Angeles Lakers rookie, Bronny James is busy in finding his stride in NBA G league. The 20-year-old guard showed a great temperament for the South Bay Lakers in a 93-90 loss on Saturday. The 2024 second-round pick led all scorers with 23 points including nine rebounds and five assists. His growth as a scorer and playmaker is evident.

South Bay Lakers had a four-point lead heading into the final quarter. They stretched to a 88-78 lead with 8:22 left in the game but Charge sparked a 15-2 run in the end. Cleveland Charge outscored the hosts 19-12 in the final stanza to snatch the win.

Bronny James continued his great run in G League and scored 23 points over a 30-minute stay. Bronny went 7-for-14 from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc while missing just one free throw (3-for-4). The Lakers rookie also added 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

It was the sixth instance for Bronny in G League when he scored in double figures in the G-League. Saturday’s performance was his best since scoring a career-high 30 points against the Valley Suns. James also debut in G-League Showcase and scored 16 points.
