Liv Morgan, a.k.a. Gionna Daddio will be starring in the film “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo”, the third installement in the film series. She revealed this through her official X account.

Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo will be directed by notable filmmaker Takashi Miike. The film will also star Shun Oguri (Godzilla vs Kong) and Lily James (Yesterday, Pam and Tommy) alongside Liv Morgan. The story will follow the titular bad lieutenant played by Shun Oguri. He will portray a corrupt gambler of the Metropolitan Police Force. He will find himself solving the case of the disappearance of a politician’s daughter alongside an unique FBI agent played by Lily James. All the while, a dangerous killer from the Yakuza underworld seems to be keeping an eye on them. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan will portray the daughter of the politician, whose disappearance is the central part of the story as per Deadline.

The film will be co-produced by the United States and Japan. The film will serve as the third in the series. The first Bad Lieutenant (1992) film starred Harvey Keitel. This was followed by the film Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009) starring Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendes. However, the films act as standalones are not direct sequels or prequels of each other.

Liv Morgan has established herself as one of the major stars of Monday Night Raw within a few years. She has helped the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles four times with Raquel Rodriguez.
