The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 has wrapped up with a surprising turn in the final. PSG, the favourites going into the final, were humbled by a relentless Chelsea side who defeated them by a 3-0 margin. Chelsea lifted the trophy along with a huge prize money.

Both collective glory and individual honours were on display when the tournament’s top performers were recognized. Chelsea’s dominance in the final extended to the awards stage as two of their players lifted two important individual trophies.

From commanding displays between the posts to brilliance in attack – Chelsea’s Robert Sanchez and Cole Palmer dominated. Additionally, PSG and Real Madrid’s Desire Doue and Gonzalo Garcia got away with the other awards. Here’s a breakdown of the major prize-winners:

Player of the Tournament: Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

England and Chelsea stad Cole Palmer was named the Player of the Tournament. He delivered a stellar performance throughout the competition. His standout contribution came in the final against PSG as he scored a brace and another assist for Chelsea’s third goal. His heroics that decided the Blues’ match against the French giants secured him the tournament’s most prestigious individual honour.

Golden Glove: Robert Sánchez (Chelsea)

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez claimed the Golden Glove, which is awarded to the tournament’s best goalkeeper. He maintained three clean sheets and made crucial saves throughout the tournament. This includes important interventions against PSG. He ensured that Chelsea kept their lead to win the final.

Young Player of the Tournament: Desire Doue (PSG)

PSG may have fallen short in the final. However, the talented 18‑year‑old Desire Doue earned the Young Player of the Tournament award. The young midfielder impressed with his proprioception, composure, and work rate, emerging as one of the few bright sparks for PSG amid the disappointment of a 3‑0 defeat.

Golden Boot: Gonzalo Garcia (Real Madrid)

Real Madrid’s rising star Gonzalo Garcia took home the Golden Boot for finishing as the tournament’s top scorer. He netted four goals in six matches and added one assist. That assist became a decisive edge over other players who he tied with on four goals.
