Auger-Aliassime’s season began with titles in Adelaide and Open Occitanie, where he upset Sebastian Korda and Aleksander Kovacevic, respectively. Notably, he reached the final in Dubai, losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas, but after this, he hit a mid-season slump. He later found top form with quarterfinal runs in Cincinnati and semifinal appearances at the US Open, Doha, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Mallorca. At the US Open he defeated Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev before falling to Jannik Sinner in four sets. Across 2025 he has fired 554 aces, winning 76% of first-serve points, 30% of return points and converting 33% of 422 break points.

He reached the London quarterfinals before losing to Carlos Alcaraz, made the semifinals at the Generali Open and produced career-best runs to the third round at Wimbledon and the fourth round at the US Open. He exited Beijing in the second round to Alex de Minaur. The Frenchman has hit 447 aces, won 75% of first-serve points and converted 33% of 232 break points.
Felix Auger-Aliassime leads 2-0 in his head-to-head against Arthur Rinderknech, with both wins coming this season in Mallorca and Cincinnati. The latter ending prematurely after the Frenchman retired due to a heat-related illness.

Rinderknech’s power and confidence could trouble Auger-Aliassime early, especially if the Frenchman finds rhythm on serve. Still, the Canadian’s balance of aggression and composure should prevail.
Not to mention a 60th career quarterfinal 🎯
