Elijah Arroyo was selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft with pick number 50 by the Seattle Seahawks. Arroyo has a high ceiling as a player and could be a star tight end in the NFL. He has a build that is ready for the NFL, and he has the athleticism needed to succeed at the next level. Arroyo is a former four-star recruit and was ranked No. 4 amongst tight ends in the country during his high school football career. He chose to play collegiate football for Miami over other great offers such as Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Kansas, and many others.

He spent all four of his college football years playing for Miami, and in his true freshman season, he caught 5 receptions, had 86 receiving yards, and a touchdown, in 12 games that he played. The following season, in his sophomore season, Arroyo suffered a season-ending injury and played in only 4 games that season, racking up 66 receiving yards, and 5 receptions, taking a medical redshirt that year.

In 2023, Arroyo played in 4 games and was still battling the injury he had suffered. However, in the 2024 season, Arroyo had a breakout season, starting all 13 games, catching 35 passes, 590 receiving yards, and adding 7 touchdowns. For his efforts, he earned himself a second-team All-ACC nod.

Who is Elijah Arroyo’s Mother?

Elijah Arroyo’s mother goes by the name LaTorri Arroyo. Elijah and his family moved from Miami to Mexico when he was just six years of age, and according to his mother Elijah was a happy-go-lucky, and easygoing kid. When his parents broke the news to him about Mexico, LaTorri told a reporter that all her son wanted to do was play football. LaTorri said, “He (Elijah) was like ‘We’re moving to Mexico?’ That’s great. As long as I can play football.”

Who is Elijah Arroyo’s Father?

It is not known who Arroyo’s father is, as of this moment. However, some sources suggest that he was a timeshare salesman, which is why Elijah’s family moved from Miami to Cancun, Mexico.
