Quinshon Judkins, a running back from Ohio State, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft in January. A former three-star recruit from Pike Road High School, he received offers from Notre Dame and Auburn before committing to Ole Miss in 2022. He made an immediate impact as a freshman, breaking school records with 1,567 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on 274 carries in 13 games.

Judkins earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors, a first-team All-SEC selection, and the Conerly Trophy as Mississippi’s top college player. He followed up with another strong season in 2023, again earning first-team All-SEC honors after posting 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns on 271 carries.

However, after two seasons with the Ohio State, he entered the transfer portal and joined Ohio State for the 2024 season. His downhill running style helped the Buckeyes win the CFP Championship. He finished the season with third-team All-Big Ten honors.

Judkins finished his college career with 739 carries for 3,785 rushing yards and 45 touchdowns across 42 games, along with 59 receptions for 442 yards and 5 touchdowns. At the NFL Combine, he ranked fifth among running backs with a total score of 83, reinforcing his stock as a workhorse back with three-down potential.

Judkins, per reports, is an every-down back in the NFL as a physical, reliable, and battle-tested runner capable of contributing. He is a powerful and well-balanced runner, with a compact frame of 6 feet and 221 pounds, helping with the low center of gravity.

However, his lack of breakaway top-end speed is his biggest possible drawback, but his consistency and tackle-breaking skills more than make up for it. He ran the 40-yard dash at the combine in 4.48 seconds, which is no doubt a good speed but is not elite. With more agility and improvement in receiving skills, he has the potential to be a top-tier RB.

Judkins is projected to be a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Bleacher Report projects him as the 73rd overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Las Vegas Raiders, while Dalton Miller of the Pro Football Network projects him as the 83rd overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
