Running back Dylan Sampson was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft with pick number 126. He played his college football for the Tennessee Volunteers, and while it took him a while to become a starter for the team, he quickly propelled into one of the star running backs of the 2025 NFL Draft class. Sampson played his high school football for Dutchtown High School in Louisiana and was a four-star recruit on his way to Tennessee.

As a freshman, Sampson played in 10 games, put up 397 rushing yards on 58 carries, and six touchdowns. He averaged 6.84 yards per carry and ranked second amongst SEC freshmen in rushing scores. The following season, in his sophomore year in 2023, Sampson had an excellent all-purpose season, playing in 12 games, while starting for one and recorded 604 yards, 7 touchdowns, caught 17 passes, had 175 receiving yards, and a touchdown, showcasing his versatility. However, nobody saw what was going to come in the following season in 2024, where Sampson broke out and recorded an absurd 1491 rushing yards, 22 rushing touchdowns, 143 receiving yards, and 20 receptions. He was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2024, and his 22 rushing TDs were the most by an SEC player since Najee Harris, who posted 26, in 2020.
