El Grande Americano to The Rescue of Dominic Mysterio Again, Interrupt The Match Between Rusev And Penta On Monday Night Raw

Rusev and Penta were in a #1 contender match against each other when El Grande Americano and Los Americano entered the ring and started an assault on them, and the match ended in a disqualification. The winner of the match would have faced Dominic Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SNME. Still, the latter asked El Grande Americano for help when Judgment Day refused to do it.

With no #1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and while Dominic Mysterio would have thought this would solve his problem, it didn’t. In fact, it increased by a factor of two. Dominic Mysterio will now defend his title against both Penta and Rusev in a triple threat match at SNME.

Rusev And Penta Fought in a Match of Their Lives on Raw

Rusev and Penta fought each other in a brutal match to decide the #1 contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Both of them showcased how desperate they are to get their hands on the title. Penta dominated the match with his high flyers, and while Rusev was able to dominate the match in fractions, the agility of Penta got him back into the match again.

Both Penta and Rusev drained each other to the last bit of their strength. Neither of them was able to put the other down. Penta showed great agility while Rusev showed his Raw power. The moment it looked like we would have a clear winner of the match, El Grande Americano and Los Americano interrupted the match.

Penta and Rusev have both faced each other once, and the latter was able to pull up a victory. Rusev went on to face Dominic Mysterio twice and lost both times. Penta, too, has been unable to get past Dominic Mysterio. Dominic Mysterio has been not one but ten steps ahead of everyone when it comes to cheating and retaining his title.
