Dricus Du Plessis Claps Back at Shara Magomedov’s Comments

Dricus Du Plessis is the current middleweight champion of the UFC and has been remained undefeated in the UFC so far. He’s fought some of the division’s toughest fighters and has come out on top, every single time. He handed Israel Adesanya his first loss via submission and has taken down Sean Strickland twice. Du Plessis has knocked out his opponents 9 times in his MMA career and has made his opponents tap out 11 times. He is 23-2-0 in his MMA career, and one can easily see that he hasn’t reached the top of the middleweight division by accident or fluke, but there are fighters who believe otherwise.

Shara Magomedov made his UFC debut in October of 2023 and won four straight fights before losing to Michael Page last month. It was his first loss in his entire MMA career and he lost via unanimous decision. Magomedov is nowhere close to fighting Du Plessis for a title and he still has a long way to go before he can contend for a title. However, the Russian recently made some bizarre comments on the middleweight champion and here is what he said;

“I will be very happy if Du Plessis loses his belt. I don’t understand how he managed to get his belt.”

If you know Du Plessis, as we do very well, you know he wasn’t going to let this one slide easily. So he decided to do what he does best, clap back at Shara. And Du Plessis did not hold back at all.

Dricus Du Plessis Had a Series of Hilarious Replies for Magomedov’s Comments

Du Plessis heard the trash talk that Magomedov had said about him, and he immediately fired back saying;

“Somebody get my guy some eye drop.”

Dricus Du Plessis completely shut down Shara Magomedov and while he remains undefeated in the UFC, he also remains undefeated on the keyboard. Du Plessis is interested in taking on Khamzat Chimaev next. After beating Strickland for the second time, Du Plessis let everyone know that Chimaev is next as he is one of, if not, the best contenders and unbeaten UFC fighters remaining in the middleweight division.
