Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre at each other's cross heir again

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been part of each other’s story for an entire year now. If you narrate one’s career over the past year, the story of the other would come intertwined. It all started when Drew McIntyre won the WWE Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL but his happiness was short-lived. Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract on him and Drew McIntyre lost the championship in mere 5 minutes and 42 seconds.

Drew tried to regain his championship but failed. Fast forward to the 2025 Royal Rumble, where Damian Priest eliminated Drew McIntyre making the latter furious. They met at the 2025 Elimination Chamber and Damian Priest eliminated Drew again. An angry Drew McIntyre delivered a Claymore to Damian Priest and gave Logan Paul the opportunity to eliminate him.

Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest have been at each other’s throats ever since. Drew McIntyre attacked Damian Priest and the latter retaliated the same day later. Drew McIntyre followed it up by attacking Damian Priest on back-to-back SmackDown episodes. Damian Priest retaliated by attacking Drew McIntyre last week delivering a South of Heaven to Drew McIntyre sending him through the car’s windshield.

Drew McIntyre has a warning message for Damian Priest

Drew McIntyre warns Damian Priest that bad things are going to happen to him. He blamed Damian Priest for ruining his moments ever and taking both his World Title opportunities at WrestleMania by eliminating him at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber from behind. He called him for attacking him from behind and not facing him like a man.

Drew McIntyre claimed that he could live with a bad hurt. He might however never be the same due to the shard of glass that went in his eye. He said he needed to pray for a miracle but also warned Archer of Infamy that bad things happen when he prays.

Damian Priest responded with a Challenge for Drew McIntyre

Damian Priest was quick to respond mocking Drew McIntyre for blaming others for all the bad things that happened to him. Priest called Drew for playing the victim card and making him the villain of his story when in reality the latter screwed himself. He claimed Drew’s weird obsession with CM Punk cost him the title at WrestleMania.

Damian was quick to remind Drew McIntyre that his obsession didn’t let him win the title back. Damian claimed that he eliminated Drew fair and square at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. He however blamed him for costing him his shot at WrestleMania Main Event as he delivered the Claymore to the former getting eliminated. He called Drew a hypocrite who pointed fingers at others for his failure.

Damian Priest told Drew McIntyre he no longer needed to paint him as the villain of the story anymore. He claimed to be the villain of Drew’s story. He asked Drew to stop playing the victim and face him on the upcoming Friday Night Smackdown. Damian Priest also challenged him for WrestleMania. WWE is yet to announce their match but given the issue between them, we might be looking at the potential WrestleMania match.
