At just 19 years and 362 days, Doue became the first teenager in the tournament’s history to scored a brace and an assist in a Champions League final. He became the youngest player to both score and assist in a UCL final. It also earned him the Player of the Match award on the night. About the PSG youngster, the UEFA Technical Observer Group said:
“Doue has been a revelation this season. He made an incredible breakthrough in the knockout phase, going to the final and producing a Player of the Match performance… It’s great to have role models who can encourage other young players to shine in the future.”
Doue was involved in PSG’s opening goal. He assisted Achraf Hakimi, before netting two goals himself. His dynamic attacking display set the tone early as PSG raced to a two-goal lead within 20 minutes. It’s a feat no team had previously achieved in a UCL final.
The French prodigy appeared in 15 matches throughout the tournament. In total, he contributed to 5 goals and 3 assists. Thus, making him PSG’s second-highest scorer and third-highest goal contributor in their title-winning Champions League campaign.

He also played a key role for PSG in the knockout stages, scoring important goals against Brest, Aston Villa, and Salzburg. After the win, Doue said, “I can’t believe what happened: we made history for the club in French football, in European football. We’re a great team collectively, and we showed it… It’s just magnificent.”
Doue edged out Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal for the prestigious UEFA award. Both players were included in the Team of the Season. However, it was Doue’s commanding final performance that tipped the scales. With Doue’s contribution in PSG lifting their first-ever Champions League trophy, he was chosen for the honour without a doubt.
