Damian Priest Mocks Drew McIntyre, Calls Him Out for Being Bored at Work

Drew McIntyre no longer bored at work.

WWE Backlash featured one of the most brutal matches for the WWE United States Championship. The Fatal Four-Way match featured big names like Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, LA Knight, and the United States Champion, Jacob Fatu. Even Jacob Fatu, who defies all the laws of physics when he moves swiftly with that big, bulky body, found it hard to win the match dominantly and needed Jeff Cobb and Solo Sikoa to retain his title.

LA Knight was dominating Jacob Fatu before Jeff Cobb’s interruption. Solo Sikoa saved Jacob Fatu first, and when LA Knight went ahead to confront him, Jeff Cobb attacked him. The match not only featured the dominant debut of Jeff Cobb, who all but finished LA Knight and handed victory to Jacob Fatu, but also reignited the rivalry between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre.

Damian Priest Takes a Jibe at Drew McIntyre, “This Guy Is Bored at Work”

The most talked-about moment of the Fatal Four-way match was the injury concern of both Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre. Damian Priest screwed Drew McIntyre again and denied him of the title victory. Drew McIntyre delivered a Claymore to LA Knight and covered him, but Damian Priest pulled him out. He and Damian Priest brawled outside the ring, and their fight went from the ringside to the production area.

Damian Priest performed a brutal beatdown on Drew McIntyre, both physically and verbally. He was heard taking a jibe at Drew McIntyre, stating, “This guy is bored at work”. He mocked Drew McIntyre for posting a pic from their WrestleMania match, with the caption, “Bored at Work”. He then delivered a South of Heaven to Drew McIntyre from the Production area. Both of them went through the table.

Drew’s head missed the table and hit the concrete floor, and they were out for the remainder of the match. The medical team checked on both of them. Triple H gave an update on their condition at the post-show press conference. One thing is for sure: Drew McIntyre would no longer be bored at work.
